Babar Azam New Record in Cricket History
Islamabad: With great success, Pakistani captain Babar Azam has managed to set record books by becoming the fastest batsman to hit 7,000 runs in T20 format.
Babar Azam has beaten West West cricketer Chris Gayle's record for the fastest 7,000 runs in T20 cricket.
Babar Azam arrived at the historic site when the Central Punjab's National T20 Cup clashed with Southern Punjab, playing his 187th inning. He needed only four runs to reach the top when he came in on Sunday.

Gayle crossed the 7,000 T20 mark in the 192nd inning Chris Gayle had crossed the 7,000-run line in his 192th inning.
Babar Azam missed three innings on Chris Gayle's record when he reached 6,000 runs earlier this year. Since then, he has taken just 22 innings to score another 1,000 runs in his T20 runs.
Babar Azam got 2000 T20I runs in 52 innings
Of his 7,000 T20 runs, 2,204 have scored in T20Is. In April this year, Babar Azam had extended Virat Kohli's record to be the fastest to make 2,000 runs in the T20 international, beating the Indian captain by four innings.
Babar Azam New Record in Cricket History
Babar Azam archive 2,000 T20I runs from just 52 innings, while Kohli, who previously held the record for the fastest to make 2000 T20I runs, the same in innings only 56 are.
He is an 11th cricket player to get 2000 T20I runs.
Last week, Babar Azam hit the sixth T20 in his career to record a record number of hundreds of T20s by a Pakistani attacker. With 186 innings or more from 64 points, Babar Azam has the best 50s / innings in T20 cricket among all the top batsmen in the world.
