This 50 Push-Up Challenge Will Transform Your Body in 30 Days
“The 60-day challenge”, or any other exercise that bears the weight of challenges, has been the stuff of endless possibilities for anyone wanting to take up new endeavors. Hitting all three of them in just 30 days feels like a dream come true! But here’s the catch. In order to jump-start my own push-up workout regimen, I have to jump-start a new push-up challenge.
According to Greatist, the problem with a push-up challenge is that there are so many people doing them, and it has become difficult to differentiate between a great challenge and a poor one. This is precisely why we decided to do it our own way. Our idea is that each day, you’ll start with just 50 push-ups—if you haven’t yet, skip a few reps until you’ve gotten at least 20 up! If you don’t quite reach that number, just keep at it until you’ve hit your goal and jump off the number you want to hit. As your numbers get higher, then your difficulty level drops. The reason for this is because a good push-up is what it’s supposed to be: Powerful and satisfying.
If you’re a newbie, you might find a steady 24-hour on-going workout, such as an eight-hour afternoon nap, too easy. For me, my regular evening workouts are usually anything but gentle. They range from 75 to 100 push-ups in an hour, and I generally have no intention of sleeping for eight hours. I’m terrible at the machine, and it’s great that each workout is more difficult than the last—it boosts my motivation and pushes me to do a better push-up.
Being the catalyst for change can be as easy as a once-in-a-month push-up challenge. I’m convinced that starting with a good workout routine will get you through any hurdle, whether you’re drowning in debt, trying to lose weight, finding the perfect partner, or just trying to get through each day without murdering yourself. It’s a great exercise that you can do for beginners, no matter your age, height, or health.
The best part is that if you’re aiming for something, you’re going to get there. No matter what obstacle comes next, just remember to hold yourself accountable and see if you need to try to push through that piece of the hill.
Get started by signing up for 45-day member-to-member challenges that can help you achieve your goals. These challenges, which can get you there within 30 days, don’t require you to do your whole workout, but once you’ve reached your goal, sign up for an alternate challenge that will get you back on track to your goals before you leave the club’s walls. Use these things as an inspiration to push yourself for a challenge before working out!
