The well-known actor and comedian was born in Karachi on December 24, 1950. From the theater at the age of 16, Moin Akhtar entered the television world at the age of sixty and became a household name, continuing the process of tying his name as. one of the leading Pakistani artists ever.



Moin Akhtar's most popular television dramas include 'Rozi', 'Intezar Farmaiye', 'Bund Road', 'Aangan Terha', 'Studio Dhai', 'Studio Ponay Teen', 'Yes Sir, No Sir' and 'Train' for Eid '.

Throughout his career, Moin worked in a number of languages, including English, Sindhi, Punjabi, Memon, Pashto, Gujarati, and Bengali. He also loved to sing.



His work with comedian Anwar Maqsood and actor Bushra Ansari in memorable stage plays and TV shows has gained tremendous popularity among the masses. In recognition of his artistic achievements, Moin Akhtar was also awarded the Presidential Pride of Performance and Sitara-e-Imtiaz. Moin Akhtar died from a heart attack in Karachi on April 22, 2011.
