HEC announces Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program.


For this scholarship only Students of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir can apply.


The last day to apply for a bursary is January 17, 2022.

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program (2022-23) for students throughout Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.


The program, presented by the Government of Hungary, with a Bachelor's degree, One-Tier Master's, Master's, and PhD, courses.


"The HEC is the only institution that appoints people to the curriculum," the council said.


Deadline for submission of online applications at 2pm (PST) January 17, 2022.


HEC advised applicants to read all instructions carefully and submit complete online applications to HEC and Hungary sites separately without waiting for a deadline.


Copies of the application forms are not required by the HEC at this stage of the application process, the body said.


Eligibility criteria:


The applicant must be a citizen of Pakistan / AJ & K.


Must be between 18-22 years of Undergraduate programs. The age limit should not exceed 35 years for students applying for Masters degree programs. For PhD programs, the age limit should not exceed 40 years (deadline).


The applicant must have completed HSSC / Intermediate or equivalent Bachelor's (Undergraduate Program) application and One-Tier Master's degree ie DVM, DPharm etc.


Applicant must have completed 16 years of the same Bachelors / Degree to apply for a Master's (Postgraduate Program).


The applicant must have completed an 18-year degree and / or equivalent application in the PhD program.


The applicant must complete all the fields of the Hungarian application form and the HEC application form and no column or field should be left blank.


Certificates / Transcripts / Degrees to be attached must be certified by certifying authorities such as IBCC and HEC. O&A level equity from IBCC is mandatory.


It is the sole responsibility of students applying for any professional degree (Medical, Engineering, Nursing, Architecture, Law, Veterinary Medicine etc.) to first obtain their accreditation from the relevant councils namely Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC), Pakistan. Engineering Council (PEC), Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC), Pakistan Council for Architects and Town Planners (PCATP), Pakistan Bar Council (PBC), Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC), Pakistan Technology Council etc.


IELTS / TOEFL scores as required, where applicable on the Hungarian side.


All applicants must submit a medical certificate of satisfactory health status (issued before 15 November 2021, a written medical certificate stating that the applicant is free of the following diseases: AIDS, Hepatitis A, B, C or any other epidemic conditions.)


If the final election is held, applicants will be required to submit a bond to a legal document with the HEC that he will not change his discipline after receiving his final scholarship, and soon after his graduation, he will return to Pakistan. to serve the country for a period determined by the HEC. In the event of failure to do so, HEC reserves the right to receive funding from its candidate or supplier, the amount of the fine as determined by the HEC.


Applicants must meet all other requirements set by the University of Hungary at the University / Tempus Public Foundation / Pakistan Higher Education Commission.


In the final election, the candidate must submit a bond agreement.
