Maryam Nawaz sees end of PTI law 'in' days'
ISLAMABAD - The Deputy President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday said the days of the Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government were numbered due to its poor performance.
The PML-N leader made the remarks while addressing the media outside the Islamabad (IHC) Supreme Court.
He said the performance of government could not be justified as there was no condemnation, adding that the community would soon eradicate this ineffective government.
Maryam stressed that the government spokesman did not address issues including inflation, unemployment and the Murree crisis.
Speaking on the Murree disaster, he called on Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid to respond to the incident, in which 23 people died of ice, as the government tried to cover up its incompetence.
He said the PML-N stood like a stone behind former prime minister Nawaz Sharif despite facing multiple charges.
The PML-N expert said it was only a matter of days, not months or weeks, before PTI was sent for packaging.
