ISLAMABAD - A report submitted to Pakistan's Supreme Court has revealed that more than 22,000 government officials are of two nationalities.pointed out that more than 22,000 government officials are two nations.
According to the report, 11,000 police officers are also under office arrest. 540 of them are Canadians, 240 are British and 190 are American.
The majority of government officials hold Australian, New Zealand, Malaysia, Ireland and other nationalities.
Dual nationality officers include civil servants from grade 17 and above, the report said, adding that six Grade 22 police officers were two students.
Dual nationality holder officials currently work in the interior, electrical, aviation, finance, petroleum, trade, establishment, information, rail and other sectors.
Many 1515 officials of the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) also have citizenship.
Key officials of dual nationality include Khyber Pakhtunkhawa General Secretary Kamran Baloch (PAS, Grade 22), Human Rights Organization Secretary Rabia Agha (PAG, Grade 22), Investment Board (BOI) Secretary Sardar Ahmed Nawaz Sukhera (Grade 22), incumbent . DG Passport of Immigration Ishrat Ali (Grade 21), Sumera Nazir Siddique, Secretary Auqaf Punjab Zulfiqar Ahmed Ghuman, Zeba Hai of Customs and others.
