Earlier, the Green Shirts set their goal of 240 runs for the Afghan team after winning the toss.

Opener Muhammad Shehzad made 43 runs and his teammate Haseebullah Khan managed to score just two out of 10. Abdul Faseeh has always been Pakistan's leading scorer with 68 runs and Maaz Sadaqat's 42 runs.

Pakistan began its World Cup campaign with a landslide victory over Zimbabwe a few days ago. Haseebullah Khan hit a fine 100 and Awais Ali scored 6 points in the opening game of the Green Shirts.
